By accessing or using HandMeFast ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
HandMeFast is a marketplace that connects people who need help with everyday tasks ("Requesters") with individuals who provide that help ("Helpers"). HandMeFast does not employ Helpers and is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of services performed.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. HandMeFast reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
All payments are processed through Stripe. Requesters authorize payment at the time of posting a task. Funds are captured upon task completion. HandMeFast may charge a service fee, which will be disclosed at checkout. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
Helpers may undergo identity and background checks. Passing a check does not constitute an endorsement by HandMeFast. Requesters are responsible for independently assessing a Helper's suitability for their task.
You agree not to use the Platform to engage in fraudulent, illegal, or harmful activity; post false or misleading task information; harass, abuse, or threaten other users; or circumvent the Platform's payment system.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HandMeFast shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to property damage, personal injury, or financial loss resulting from tasks.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email where practicable.
